Penrith Anglican College is a co-educational school located in Orchard Hills, NSW.

The school wanted a new website design as their old site was outdated in terms of site navigation and structure. Their brief was comprehensive and included several site references, which helped the team at Solutions Outsourced to conceptualise the look and feel of the new site.

One main request from the school was that the virtual tour, which was on their previous website and which gave a 360-degree tour of certain sections of the school, be updated transferred to the new site.

This site was highly customised and evolved over a period of several months.

The virtual tour was a major part of the school’s online presence and required much consultation and revision, while other custom-created pages on the site also demanded specific technical expertise. For example, the client wanted a specific number of news items displayed on the home page.

They also wanted photos to randomly rotate on each page of
the site, rather than returning to a set order of display each
time a visitor clicked on a new page. To achieve this,
Solutions Outsourceddevised a way to re-write the flash code to
haphazardly select images.

In total, Solutions Outsourced worked with Penrith Anglican College for around six months creating, designing and developing the school’s new web presence –and the client was very satisfied with the results.
