Solutions Outsourced PRESS RELEASE: Miko's Movember Makeover
15 November, 2010
It's easy for Miko Ademagic (pictured) to do his bit for Movember. The Front End Developer at Solutions Outsourced simply has to grow a mo’, and raise money. Moved by a local businessman (David Funnell, diagnosed with prostate cancer and given three months’ to live in 2002 but incredibly still alive thanks to fantastic research and world class doctors) to grow a mo’, Miko has now motivated his colleagues at Solutions Outsourced to do the same. Several other team members have taken the Movember challenge, with Peter, John, Rabin, Dominic, Brett and Brendan all growing a mo’ to raise money for research into depression and cancer. Those not able to grow a mo’ are also supporting the cause, though, with the entire office behind the boys in some way. However, all other mo-deprived people have to do is part with a little hard-earned money to support a great cause. This is Solutions Outsourced’s first Movember, and the team are aiming to top $1000 in their fundraising efforts. Customers have been very supportive so far, with offers rolling in and donations beginning to mount, reaching just beyond the halfway point of their goal so far.
Miko encourages people to donate – and keep up-to-date with the mo-growing via weekly updates on www.solutionsoutsourced.com.au/blog. Compare photos online to see who can grow the best mo’, and visit the Movember website to see their national ranking with regards to fundraising. Keep an eye on the competition between the Funnells and Solutions Teams to see who the strongest force will be.
Grow a mo’ alongside Miko and the team, point and laugh, or simply admire – but don’t forget to donate!African Aids Foundation Christmas Appeal

Sector Connect the community - with their official website launch!
5 November, 2010
Sector Connect hosted their official website launch last night, with some gracious words about their extensive new site, and the perks of being able to edit it so seamlessly making their workflow more fluent. They also had plenty of positive words to say about their experiences working with the team at Solutions Outsourced. There were inspiring talks from several members of the organisation, and laptops were placed around the room for attendants to navigate their way through. Thanks to Sector Connect for having us at the event.
Sector Connect represents non-profit organisations in the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions. The Sector Connect website is jam-packed with some very tasty Siteflex features, and offers a mass of valuable resources, including information on volunteer opportunities in our local area. The site has one of the most extensive Siteflex product and services systems to date. The styling of categories is unique to members and non-members. The homepage also features products and news feeds, acting as a central hub for visitors, pulling in data from important parts of the Website and external sources.
