Macarthur Anglican School recently approached us to undertake the design of their inaugural school calendar/business directory. The concept proposed to not only provide local businesses with advertising opportunities but to double as a valuable resource for students and families via the inclusion of significant dates and contact details. These dates include school-related events which are spread throughout the monthly pages and the occasional special highlight for specific "Events of the Month" such as Relay for Life and the Pink Ribbon Breakfast.

The calendar was furnished by an abundance of student and school community photography which added a wonderful vibrancy and charm to the monthly pages. The photography was arranged in a set format throughout the calendar with a unique composition for each month that included themes such as swimming carnivals, sports, music, agriculture and international tours.

The business directory was handled by tasteful arrays of advertisements positioned primarily at the beginning and end of the calendar and allowed local businesses to purchase from a variety of advertisement dimensions. Exclusive monthly positions were allocated for "hero" advertisements - one for each month, allowing for maximum exposure.

The front cover's photograph depicts a wonderful warm amber glow of lights surrounding the school chapel and really finishes the the calendar off nicely.
