Summer has been a great season here at Solutions Outsourced. There have been many changes including a new deck, new staff and new clients welcomed. We have had many interesting client projects and a swag of new features for Siteflex released. So as we reflect on the summer, we look forword to working with you through Autumn and the rest of 2010. CeBIT 2010 The members of Solutions Outsourced's Web Management System Siteflex team members will be attending CeBIT 2010 in the Webciety realm this May. A great event for finding out all the latest in the web and technology industry. If you are interested in attending please feel free to contact us before the event. Siteflex was last year announced as the Winner of "Excellence in New Media Award 2009" at CeBIT.au 
A not for profit website, this site was created as an inspiring information resource for the general Christian community as well as regulars of the Buxton Church itself. The site had to reflect the small village atmosphere of Buxton, as well as the bigger picture that is Christianity. The site uses colours and imagery to reflect these aspects, and font styles to reflect the past, and history.
The print department has been working on several large productions, from magazine production, to a large scale manual, and an Annual Report in the final stages. Take a look at some recent work on our portfolio page.
The ISS World Safe Work Practices job is a 148 Page safe work practices manual packed with icons, photos, 3D illustrations, and a range of design templates... This project began as a 50 page document, but soon worked its way to 100+ pages as the content and requirements continued to manifest. A great outcome, this project involved the labour of several designers, in particular to create the complex 3D room diagrams. Our second production of the trade magazine, Issue 5 of "The Ultimate Finish" recently went to the printers. After 3 months of production, including the storyboarding, content generation, sourcing of images and layout work, our design department has been working very closely with client DuPont Performance Coatings to ensure the arduous project made it to completion ahead of deadline. With some last moment contributor changes, we wrapped the project up successfully - naturally!
Cool Colour Blindness Tool In one of our many web searches for resources, we came across a Colour Blindness Simulator. Apparently, around one in twenty people have some form of colour blindess. This means your website, brochure, logo, or even your overall attire may appear to some as one blur of colour. 
Try out this online tool and test some of your website images and you will be amazed at the different outcomes. This site even has a colour check to determine a safe contrast between background colour, and foreground/text colour for ease of readability.
