Event Management

Running a lecture, seminar, briefing or product launch can be a significant undertaking for most firms. Planning the venue, the catering, the speakers, the entertainment - the list does not seem to end.

Additionally, maintaining a register of attendees, communicating with them and welcoming them professionally to the event itself can be one of the most difficult matters to manage.

This, however, was solved with the Event Manager...

A sophisticated event manager was developed that permitted:

  1. Multiple Events to exist simultaneously
  2. Each event can contain multiple sessions
  3. Manage event status:
    1. announced
    2. Open for registration
    3. Closed for registration
    4. Event Occurred
  4. Full WYSIWYG Editor for outlining the venue details, Speakers & Agenda
  5. Re-allocation of attendees from one session to another
  6. Attendee lists to be sent to a CSV file for label creation, letter generation etc

Further, the client side interface on the website permits

  1. multiple events to be displayed
  2. auto-completion of registrants details where a login has occurred
  3. Selection of morning, afternoon or evening session preferences
  4. Registration of additional attendees from the same firm

The client now has a very simple yet complete mechanism to promote an event and register attendees and then manage the registrations from receipt to event follow up.
